Mandovi River is the soul of Goa. Panjim city is situated on the banks of this lovely river and boasts of a long and vide walkway all along the river.
Walk through the vide promenade along the river offers good view of the river with many boats,ferries,floating casinos and cruise ships.
The river is famous for its sunset and dinner river cruise organised by Government and private operators from the Jetty near Patto.
Cruise offers a unique ride on the river, offering cultural show along with traditional folk dances and good view of the Panjim city.

It connects Panjim and Porvorim via two bridges. You can also cross it by ferries to go to Chorao or Divar islands.
It is worthwhile to take a ride by the river to old Goa and stop at the Newly done up Ribandar waterfront. Or drive to Candolim by the river via Betim for a closer view of the river.
