About

The Chapel of St. Catherine or Chapel of Santa Catarinais part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India - "Churches and Convents of Goa". It is located in the same campus as the the Church of St Francis of Assissi and the Se Cathedral. It is a site of religious, cultural and historical significance. A must visit f orHistory Buffs. The Chapel is surrounded by hedges and a small but well-maintained garden. Casual visitors to the world heritage complex might not notice it at all. However, this Chapel has historic significance attached to it and has a separate description stone of its own. The structure itself is quite plain, both from outside and inside, unlike the architecture-heavy monuments surrounding it.
