Vagator Beach situated in North Goa, it's an excellent beach with amazing views. Best place to chill with your friends . Peaceful environment ,not lot of crowd. Good place for tourist's. Nice view with hill on one side and play area, restaurants are also available. Shops are available to buy cloths for playing in sea. One of scenic beaches north of Anjuna beach, the new moon shaped beach offer a nice spot of parties and group picnic. The beach is near Chapora fort. Although sunsets are pretty viewed from any of the beaches but since this one is very quiet and less crowded it gives a great sense of serenity. There are a number of restaurants around it so it is very convenient to sit there for hours. Lot of water sports in season like parasailing , jetskis, banana ride and dolphin watch. Good shallow pattern for a nice surf or wave swimming. Specially photographer will find this heaven when its dawn. Add some.more adventure and take a enroute when on chapora fort. Just walk straight and come.out to back area of the fort you will see two beaches one is anjuna other is vagator. It will feel like a little trek and you will get down on vagator. It is the best place for trance parties in Goa since 1990s . It was the location for Sunburn Festival.

Depends on your location of stay.Take a Taxi or a bus, or simply walk if your are staying very near. Other options are taking a Goa Tourism's Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing bus, hiring a two wheeler or a car depending on your budget (Taxi Rates). Travel Time - 60 minutes from Panjim.

Tips

  • The sunset point is a sight to behold but get there early if you plan to take photographs of the sun setting because it fills up with tourists all gunning for the best spot fast.
  • Be very careful when you walk on the rocks, physically challenged should avoid it because of the rocky entrance.
